FAQs

Q: How often does the solution update the Baseline Forecast?

A: As often as you like. We suggest running a forecast once a week with ad-hoc runs whenever required, but the recurrence of the forecast is entirely up to you. For automated options, you can choose between Daily, Weekly, Bi-Monthly and Monthly recurrence options, along with the option to kick off an ad-hoc Forecast Run at the click of a button.

Q: Can you specify what supplier to order from when the application creates an auto-generated Purchase Order?

A: Yes. Even though multiple suppliers can be set up for a single product, you have control over which is the Preferred Supplier for each product in the app. This becomes the default supplier when a PO is automatically created.

Q: Does the application cater to tiered (quantity-based) Supplier Pricing?

A: Yes, it does. Our data structure allows for different prices to be saved for various ranges of Purchase Order quantities, so the price is changed dynamically depending on what quantity you enter when the PO is created.

Q: Can you set different Safety Stock strategies for separate warehouses?

A: Yes, you have the freedom to go down to an even more granular Warehouse-Product level with your inventory strategy. With the ability to plan for multiple warehouses, we believe it's important to have the freedom to consider what strategy works best at whatever level you choose.

Q: Do you support any other ecommerce platforms besides Amazon?

A: No, not currently. Amazon is the only ecommerce channel supported for now, but we are working on expanding the solution to support others: Shopify, Walmart, eBay, etc.

Q: Does your application have a Light Mode?

A: Yes, it does. Though we are avid Dark Mode users here at Ronin and always try to avoid eye strain, our application has a theme selector which allows you to switch between whichever mode suits you best whenever you feel like it.
